Future devices / Future computing
In this module we try to move forward, and think of the future of technologies in education – how will they evolve? What changes will they bring about? To do this, we will follow the guidance of Prof. Hermann Maurer, of the Technical University in Graz, Austria.
Technical requirements
These materials include flash video and PDF documents. They require the Flash 9 plug-in and a PDF reader.
Teacher guidelines
Activity 1 entails the production of a document discussing near-future devices and their impact on education. This can be facilitated by using a wiki, or having learners posting their documents to a discussion forum.
Activity 2 is conceived as a preparation for a discussion, that can be held either in class or online.
