Tobias Jenert
In 2007 Tobias Jenert graduated from the University of Augsburg’s "Media and Communication" Program. In the course of the Bachelor study he focused on individual and organisational learning as well as knowledge management. Accordingly, his bachelor thesis enquired into socio-cultural foundations of knowledge collaboration and creativity in organisations. Subsequently, Jenert concentrated on higher education and directed his interest towards designing innovative learning environments that comply with the Bologna process. In his master thesis he analysed current challenges for higher education and their impact on educational terms such as Bildung or Competence.
During his study Jenert became a member of the Augsburg Institute for Media and Educational Technology (imb) where he participated in designing and implementing new ways of teaching and learning at University. He is currently working at St. Gallen University’s Institute of Business Education & Educational Management. As a member of the red-ink doctoral school, he aims at further working on the design of innovative teaching and learning structures in higher education.
